What Can’t You Compost?

It’s amazing what things you can compost but on the flip side there are a few things that it is not a good idea to add to your pile. This isn’t a solid rule as such as some larger piles can handle some of the things we advise against but these are the things we avoid.
Dairy Products
Milk, Cheese and Butter is a bad idea to add to the pile. They go bad fast and make a nasty smell but worst of all they may attract rats of other animals!
