If you don’t have a huge outdoor space of want the convenience of having a composting bin then and there in your kitchen then there is nothing better than a work compost.

They can literally be kept anywhere inside your home as long as there is adequate airflow and you remember to use and take care of it. Your new little pets are live animals, remember that.

You don’t need much to get a worm compost up and going and working efficiently. It’s simply a large flat plastic container with some air holes drilled in and stuffed with a bunch of shredded paper and starter waste. The worms will work hard for you if you feed them what they want. Everyone should really be doing this!

The compost produced is actually the worm poo but it’s highly nutritious for plants and will help reduce costs of buying compost and growing supplements.

If you watch the awesome video below you will see pretty much all you know to get your own worm compost going. These little wriggley fellows will be part of the family in no time!

It’s absolute;y awesome isn’t it! The more people that you can persuade to join you in this the more we can reduce our neighborhoods waste output and the strain on the government’s waste plants.
